lol well spotted. its for my formula brakes, i got in to a habit of carrying an alan key for my previous hayes, as long runs usually meant my brake lever would vibrate its way in or out board of the bars. having it there saves me the hassle of going into a bag mid run or whatever....(i still do this...the alan key is on the other leg) however..... it just so happens that the clamp for holding the levers on to the bar is a torx, seeing as i havent got round to replacing the bolts with alan bolts (I and do truly hate torx!!) the torx keys is just incase i need to adjust my levers after a crash or whatever

on a civil and constructive note. for the purpose of debate. 'Owen pemberton' has less of a vested interest than 'Chris sugai', and so i trust his word more, coupled with the fact he is an engineer and he covered alot more valid points than chris in the article. my main issue is how to get your 29er into the boot of your car. An already pissy job in the mud and rain made harder by bigger wheels and fugged up geometry.

so...... physics will have alot to play in this, its not just any old jump, hit at 15mph where you can put extra hop or manhandle the bike further in the air to reach destination point..... i can only assume they will be using a speedo with a big ass screen to hit the required speed (hence why all the previous attempts have been speed controlled with a motorbike tow in) big respect if they do this using a speedo ....fukkin huge respect if they do it without a speedo!!!!

No been up at all this week mate cause of work. I would imagine its slippy. All the loose should be washed away by now, the first rain fall is always the worse. Weather looking ok for weekend.
